The TIS 851 is a two-pole voltage and continuity tester with combined LCD and LED indication, reading AC/DC voltage from 0–690V. It features a built-in proving unit so you can verify the tester before and after use to comply with HSE GS38, plus continuity testing, polarity, and 2-pole phase rotation on 3-phase 4-wire systems. Designed for fast single-handed testing on 13A sockets, it won't trip an RCD when connected line to earth, and it still indicates the presence of voltage even with a dead or missing battery. Housed in a rugged rubberised case with a torch, low-battery warning and IP64 protection, it's supplied complete with heavy-duty leads and a padded case. Built to BS EN 61243-3:2014 and EN 61010-1, rated CAT III 1000V / CAT IV 600V.
